Scots College Goes Baronial with our Grand Collection.

In 2022-23 the John Cunningham Student Centre of Scots College, a GPS boys school in Sydney's leafy Bellevue Hill, underwent a major upgrade, transforming the bare, Brutalist structure into a larger and more practical building, incorporating state-of-the-art technologies & amenities within an envelope of an authentic 16th century Scottish Baronial style design. This architectural style was deemed the most appropriate to express and reinforce the college's rich history & traditions, and employed the use of traditional materials, styles and techniques of the period.
As well as the library and learning spaces, the refurbished interiors include a grand hall, a boardroom, a dining area, and a 100-seat theatrette, which prominently displays a large - 60m2 - ornate, custom-designed tessellated floor featuring our French encaustic tiles.
